Job Title: (2) Bilingual Intake Coordinators with Lutheran Social
Services, Foster In Texas, Dallas Office

 

General Description: The Intake Coordinator position requires expertise
in providing quality social services to prospective

foster and adoptive parents and facilitating the licensure/verification
in order to fulfill agency goals and objectives and in accordance

with organizational policies and procedures.

 

Shift Hours: Day

 

Working Relationship: - The Intake Coordinator is selected by the State
Intake Director and is directly accountable to

him/her. - Establish a working relationship with prospective foster and
adoptive parents and maintain professional

boundaries in working with each family. - Develop and maintain
functional relationships with staff, the community,

geographical area offices, and other appropriate individuals and groups.
- Work as a collaborative member of the

professional team.

 

Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related Human
Service field and one (1) or more years experience in

foster care and/or adoption preferred. - Bilingual required  - Follows
Code of Ethical Conduct policies as related to position, and ethical

policies related to Certification/State Licensure. - Ability to comply
with all Code of Ethics. 

 

Evaluation: The job performance of the Intake Coordinator will be
evaluated at the end of the Introductory Period and at

least once a year thereafter. The Performance Appraisals will be
accomplished by the State Intake Director.
