The Stewpot, a ministry of First Presbyterian Church in downtown Dallas,
has a position open for a Lead Caseworker.  The Lead Caseworker should
have a Master's degree from and accredited school of social work or
theology or a bachelor degree in social work with equivalent experience
in the field.  The Lead Caseworker should exhibit a proven record of
successful social work skills, assessment and crises intervention
skills, leadership and administrative abilities, good communication
skills, flexibility, tolerance, and a desire to work with a wide variety
of people.  The Stewpot is a non- profit organization that provides
casework and concrete services to the homeless and disadvantaged.  This
is a full time position with benefits.  Salary is competitive with

social services.  Experience in social work is a plus.  The candidate
must demonstrate flexibility, tolerance, initiative, good assessment and
crises management skills, good communication skills and a desire to work
with a wide variety of people who are disadvantaged and/or homeless.
