Dallas CASA, a nonprofit agency that advocates for the best interests of
abused and neglected children, seeks two CASA supervisor positions.
Responsibilities include supervising volunteer advocates to ensure effective
advocacy; ensuring the best interests of children are always represented;
preparing volunteers to function autonomously and effectively through
training, mentoring and providing on-going assistance.  Supervisor will
accompany volunteers on all visits with biological parents and court
hearings.  Ideal candidates will be knowledgeable of juvenile and child
welfare system, will have excellent written and verbal communication and
presentation skills, and will possess strong supervisory experience.  The
ability to bring issues to closure is essential.  Strong organizational
skills required.  Required: Bachelors degree in Social Work or related field
OR equivalent combination of experience in the field.  Preferred:  Bilingual
