The Crisis Center of Northeast Texas is seeking to fill the position of
Forensic Interviewer. Responsibilities include: conducting forensic
interviews of children regarding allegations of child abuse, facilitating
Multidisciplinary Team meetings, coordination of training and technical
assistance for team members, and promoting public awareness and general
education of issues relating to child abuse. The candidate must have
excellent oral presentation and written skills, knowledge of child
development, knowledge of child abuse and advocacy issues, the ability to
gather facts in stressful situations, the ability to work in a team setting,
and be able to represent the agency in the community with a positive and
highly professional attitude. 

 

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in from an accredited university in a human
services related field (psychology, sociology, criminal justice, social
work).  Salary is $29,000/year. Send letter of interest, resume, college
