[University College Students] Account Holds

[Success Coach Information]

As you all know we are starting advising sessions this week (you should have received an email to sign up for sessions on 10/7 if not please email Samantha.Reece at tamuc.edu<mailto:Samantha.Reece at tamuc.edu> for the link) We will start hosting registration sessions after a few weeks of advising sessions when registration opens October 29th. Before registration starts at the end of the month it is important that you make sure that you don't have any holds on your account that will prevent you from registering.



1.      Log into myLeo and click on "Registration Records & Grades"

2.      Click on "Student Records"

3.      Click on "View Your Holds"

1.      At this point the screen should show you your Hold Types, the dates of them, the reason for them, and what processes the hold affects.



a.      If you have a hold from the Fiscal office for a past due balance, please call their office at 903-886-5050 or 5051. You can also visit them at the Cashier's window in the One-Stop Shop

   b.   If you have a hold from the Undergraduate Admissions office for a missing transcript, please call their office at 903-886-5102 or visit them in the front counter of the One-Stop Shop. Hold is most likely because they need your official high school transcript with graduation date.

   c.       Don't worry about the mandatory advising hold from University College that is our hold. It only affects registration and adding/dropping classes. We will lift it in order for you to register.

   If you have a hold that you are unsure of what it affects or who to contact about it then email your Success Coach. Please list the "Hold Type", "Reason", and "Originator" so that your Success Coach can direct you in the right direction.
