<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">Venture College is the Entrepreneurship Center at TAMUC but it isn’t just for entrepreneurs. Although we teach entrepreneurship, the real point of Venture College is to help members solve problems, and develop
an entrepreneurial mindset. Yes, these are the skills needed to start a business or nonprofit but they are also the skills that make can you stand out to future employers and get ahead in life.</span><o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">We are launching this semester with our Innovation Challenge, where we are bringing together teams of students to brainstorm, develop, and pitch ideas to help increase reading literacy in Commerce. The top 5 teams
win $100 and advance to the finals where they pitch their idea to the City for a chance to win $500 and an internship with the City to try and implement their idea.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
