[Stuorg-rep] Important Student Organization Update and Upcoming Events

Good morning,
I hope you had a relaxing break. There are a few items to be on the lookout for in the upcoming weeks before the semester ends.


1.       Student Organization Information Reset

a.       Organization registration will re-open and ALL student organizations will need to complete the 3-step process (updating profile, roster, and contact information for officers)

b.       If your organization does not submit this information there will be consequences such as no longer being in good standing and losing privileges of a registered student organization.

c.       If you have any questions about the roster, please let me know.

d.       The registration will open SUNDAY, DECEMBER 12 and is DUE MONDAY, JANUARY 31.


2.       SOAC Funding

a.       Submit 3 WEEKS BEFORE an event or travel!!

b.       The application can be found on this website: https://inside.tamuc.edu/campuslife/studentCenter/studentorganizations/soac-funding.aspx.

3.       Icebreaker Institute

a.       TOMORROW at 3:30 p.m. in RSC Pride

4.       Register for the Student Involvement Fair

a.       Registration is OPEN, use this link: https://tamuc.campuslabs.com/engage/submitter/form/start/512104

b.       If your organization has already registered, you do not need to register again, you will receive a confirmation of your registration.
