[Stuorg-rep] Student Organization Updates

Happy New Year!
I hope you have enjoyed your holiday and break season. There are a few quick updates I wanted to send out. If you have any questions about the updates, please let me know.


1.       Mane Street Registration is OPEN; the fair is in person with social distancing guidelines and safety precautions. Masks are required to be worn at all times. If your organization is going to advertise that they will be in attendance, please include that attendees need to wear a mask! You can register your organization at this link<https://tamuc.campuslabs.com/engage/submitter/form/start/453989>. Mane Street will be Tuesday, January 19th from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

2.       Spring Training - If your organization was suspended last semester, you will need to have 2 officers complete the Mandatory Training on February 1, 2021, at 6 p.m. in RSC Traditions. If your organization is NEW and did not attend training in Fall, you will also need to complete the training on February 1.


3.       Student Organization Highlight (website and social media) - If your organization would like to submit a highlight/accomplishment, submissions will be posted on the student organization website (www.tamuc.edu/studentorganizations<http://www.tamuc.edu/studentorganizations>). Submissions will also be posted on the Rayburn Student Center social media (follow their pages if you aren't already). 4.       Remember to put your organization's meetings and events on ManeSync so they can be viewed on CORQ. If you have any questions about CORQ, please let me know. If you need any help with putting events on ManeSync, I would be more than willing to help walk you through that process. Tuesday, January 12 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the RSC Atrium stop by for the Pop The CORQ event and the first 75 students receive a free giveaway. You can also learn how to upload your events on ManeSync during this time.
