Southern Gospel Brunch
On Saturday, February 8th, 2020,  a community of 9,000 constituents, 12,000 university students, and 100,000 alumni will gather at
Texas A&M University-Commerce for our inaugural Southern Gospel Brunch: Celebrating African-American Heritage.

The event will commence with a brunch featuring world-renowned southern delicacies. Other activities will include an African-American Inventor's Exhibit with over 100 artifacts
ranging from scientific inventions to genres of music; an "I Have a Dream" Essay Contest with A.C. Williams Elementary School;
vignettes commemorating notable African-Americans who died this year (ie. Elijah Cummings and Diahann Carroll);
and a gospel explosion.
