[Stuorg-rep] Art Competition for the New Residence Hall

[Wendy D Morgan]

Dear Students,

I am writing to let you know of an exciting competition related to the new residence hall we are constructing. The new student housing project team realizes that there is a unique opportunity to support the vision community building. The team wants to showcase the talent of the University by hosting a competition to commission pieces of artwork for the new space.

The overarching concept for the project is a twist on tradition. A modern take on traditional elements of the home. Graphic categories include:

  *   Backyard
  *   Front Porch
  *   Heart
  *   Library
  *   Trophy Wall

Artists selected to commission pieces of work will be awarded $500.

If you are interested in participating, please see the attached document for more information and the entry form.

We look forward to seeing the great creativity you all have.

Best regards,

Michael
