[Stuorg-rep] Homecoming 2014 Royalty Application Now Available!

Greetings Student Organization Leaders,

It is that time of the year to get ready for Homecoming! Applications for Homecoming King & Queen are now available via the link below.

In order to apply for Homecoming King or Queen, an active student organization must first nominate their candidate(s). Once nominated, the candidate must fill out the form online. Below are the eligibility requirements for Homecoming Royalty:

  *   Applicant must be a full time student of Texas A&M University-Commerce.
  *   Applicant must be in good standing with the University and have a minimum of a 2.5 cumulative GPA.
  *   Applicant is required to have attended Texas A&M University-Commerce for at least one academic school year (two consecutive semesters).
  *   All applicants must present documentation of good standing from the University, this can be obtained from the Registrar's office, located in the One Stop Shop.
  *   In order to be a candidate you must be nominated by a registered student organization of which you are member.
  *   Single gender organizations may only nominate the gender that the organization is comprised of.  If you are a part of a coed organization you may only nominate one candidate of each gender represented in that organization.
  *   Provide a biographical representation of yourself. This will include your goals, achievements, and why you think you should be chosen to represent A&M-Commerce as Homecoming King or Queen. Also include a quote about the pride you have for Texas A&M University-Commerce.


Please note that all applications must be submitted online by 2pm, Friday, October 10th. Applicants must also submit a Slip of Good Standing (available at the Registrar's Office) to the Student Involvement Suite, RSC 272 by 2pm October 10th.
