[Stuorg-rep] SGA Open Forum - Recreation Center Referendum

[Joshua Hardman]

Hello students!

Happy Homecoming Week! It's a great day to be a Lion and to celebrate 125 years as an institution of higher learning in the great state of Texas.

The Student Government Association has an important message to share! As some of you know if you've been to a student forum or other presentations, the Morris Recreational Center is introducing a referendum this semester to increase the Rec Center fee. We are here to help mediate this process and make sure the students are informed of the proposal. Therefore, we are putting on our third, and last, forum for the students to come and learn about it!

This forum will be October 30th, at 3:00 PM in RSC Determination on the second floor of the Sam Rayburn Student Center. Rick Rosenstengle, Director of the MRC, will be in attendance. We will have refreshments and be prepared to answer any and all questions! Please come out and be informed! Thank you in advance from your Student Government Association!

For anyone who is not able to attend the open forum in person, we have also provided a link to a video recording of the last open forum and attached the fact sheet that will be available with the ballot November 4-6.
