Is your organization hosting an event this spring?

Consider submitting your event to the Spirit Committee for the chance to
be featured as a Spirit Approved event! Below are some Spirit Approved
FAQ's:

What is a Spirit Approved event?

Spirit Approved events are featured on all SA promotional printouts and
items and will have a unique button printed to give away at the event.
Students collect the buttons in order to enter the Button Party at the
end of the semester and have the chance to win some great prizes! The
buttons are also a fun and free takeaway item for the event.

Does my organization pay for the buttons?

No, the Spirit Committee purchases all Spirit Buttons.

Who designs the buttons?

If you have any input/ideas for your event button, we would love to hear
them. The Pride Shop is ultimately responsible for creating and
executing all button designs.

What are the requirements for an event to be considered?

The events must be open to all students and should be free to enter for
students

Are all submissions approved?

Due to the immense number of events hosted across the campus throughout
the semester, the Spirit Committee cannot ensure all submissions will be
featured. The Committee will do its best to ensure a variety of events
are chosen from across the campus.

What do I do now if I want to submit an event for consideration?

All event submissions will need to be emailed to
crystal.garcia at tamuc.edu <mailto:crystal.garcia at tamuc.edu>  no later
than Monday, November 25th. We will need the following event
information:

*         Name of event

*         Date/time/location

* Brief description of the event

If you have any further questions, you may also submit those to
crystal.garcia at tamuc.edu <mailto:crystal.garcia at tamuc.edu>
