Greetings Student Organizations!

 

Saturday, April 4th is the annual BIG EVENT!

 

The community and TAMU-C come together to improve the appearance and
safety of Commerce.   Collectively we clean up or improve the appearance
of a local business such as the Commerce Library, a roadway, a park or
an area on campus. People taking pride in their properties and the
community are an encouragement to others and we want to show the folks
of Commerce what the student organizations at TAMU-C can do!  Metal and
Paper Recycling and Document Shredding at Farmers Market will again take
place on the morning of April 4 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and we encourage
you to take advantage of these two activities.  An appreciation lunch
for volunteers will be served around noon at the city park!

 

Please let me know if your organization is interested in helping with a
project and I will be happy to give you more information.  Deadline for
signing up is April 1 at 4pm.

 

 

Information I will need when signing up includes:

 

Name of Organization

Contact Person

Contact Person email and phone number

Number of volunteers

Any special skills of the volunteers (landscaping experience, art,
painting, etc)
