[Stuorg-rep] Reminder: RSVP for the Student Organization Presidents & Advisor s Fall Resource Luncheon

REMINDER:  RSVP DEADLINE is Monday, September 10th

 

Calling all Presidents and Advisors of Recognized Student Organizations:

 

You are invited to attend the Fall Resource Luncheon which is set to occur
next Thursday, September 13, 2007 from 12:30pm-1:45pm in the Texas Ballroom.
This event will include lunch for one organization representative (typically
the organization president) and the organization advisor (two total
representatives from your organization).  Resource Luncheons are held at the
beginning of each Fall and Spring Semester to provide our student
organizations with important information, updates and opportunities relevant
to their success.  We encourage you to attend.  

 

You MUST RSVP for this event.  Please call, email, or stop by the Campus
Activities Office to reserve your place today.  Call Patty at 903.886.5816
or email her at Patty_Scott at Tamu-commerce.edu
<mailto:Patty_Scott at Tamu-commerce.edu>  in order to reserve your place.  All
reservations must be made by 5pm, Monday, September 10, 2007.

Also, this is a friendly reminder that every student organization is
required to re-register each fall before October 1.  We will be providing
organizations with their log-in and password information at the resource
luncheon.  For those of you who have retained copies of that record, you can
easily update your records at the following link:

<http://campusactivities.tamu-commerce.edu/orgs/default.asp> .  Click on the
link that says, "Register your organization or update your organization's
records."  Once you've logged in and submitted the changes, an email will be
sent to your advisor for approval.  After the advisor approves the changes,
they will be sent to our office for final approval.

 

Additionally, your organization will need to submit a membership roster of
all current, active student members in your organization.  This list must
include both the full name and the CWIID of each member.  I have attached a
form for your organization to complete and submit to our office (MSC 202D).
This roster is also due by Monday, October 1, 2007 to our office.
