[Stuorg-adv] Adopt-a-Unit 2014 is in full swing!

[Jill Mobley]

[Adopt-A-Unit 2014 ,It's back! The past 2 years have been such a huge success that we wanted to continue our Adopt-a-Unit program this year. Year 1, 25 boxes went out to a deployed Navy unit and Year 2 had 37 boxes go to an Army unit. This year should be even bigger as the SVA is teaming up with the Center for IT Excellence and reaching out to the community! The SVA will be the contact on campus and CITE will be the contact for the community. Our deployed unit is the brother of one of our student veterans and we are still waiting on the mailing information, but we wanted to go ahead and start our drive to make sure that they can get everything by Christmas! If you would like to donate, please see Jill Mobley in BA 350, email her at sva at tamuc.edu, or call 903-468-8664. Donations need to be received by DECEMBER 7th in order to make it to the unit in time. You can either drop donations by the One Stop Shop, BA 350 or Jill can come by your office(s) to pick them up.]
