Student Orgs,

We are just one week away from Hot Spots, and we want to thank everyone who has already signed up to help!  There are still opportunities to volunteer and a number of locations that have no volunteer yet!  Please consider signing up individually or with a few members from your organization.  Also, please pass this message on to anyone you know that might be interested.  Students that volunteer will receive a Lions Roar tshirt upon arrival at their volunteer shift.

What are Hot Spots?
Hot Spots are tents/tables located at four high impact areas across campus for us to engage students during the first few days of the Fall semester.  This allows us to:
-Give out bottles of water
-Give out directions to buildings on campus
-Provide information about campus services
-Distribute Lions Roar information
-Connect with new and returning students

The sign up for Hot Spots is now available!  You can register by clicking here<http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c0e4eaea622aaf58-hotspots>.  Available slots are listed by day, time, and location.  You can sign up as an individual, department, or student organization.  If you are registering for an organization, one person can select the number of volunteer spots you will fill during the time slot (change the Quantity number when reserving your spot).  Training materials and additional information will be sent to all volunteers.
