Advertise your student group at New Student Orientation!

Hello, my name is Edgar Pulido and I am the Student Coordinator
overseeing the Information Fair for the 2014 New Student Orientation
season. Can you believe, it is once again that time, to invite your
organization/department to participate in the Orientation Information
Fair? 

The "Info Fair" is a great opportunity to showcase your organization
while meeting and greeting our new incoming students. The Info Fair will
run from 1 pm to 3 pm during the second day of New Student Orientation.
The fair will be set up by 12:15 pm on the second floor of the Rayburn
Student Center. To ensure your spot in the Info Fair, please complete
the attached form and email it to myself at, epulido at leomail.tamuc.edu
<mailto:epulido at leomail.tamuc.edu>  no later than 5 pm on Friday, May
2nd.  

Due to space restraints, we request you have no more than two
representatives at your table at one time. Also, please note that your
reservation is only for a table, tablecloth and two chairs. We are
unable to accommodate other special request and unable to provide lunch
for those participating in the info fair. Please make plans to eat lunch
before you arrive. 

2014 New Student Orientation Information Fair Dates: 

*         Friday, May 30

*         Saturday, June 14

*         Friday, June 27

*         Friday, July 11

*         Saturday, July 19

*         Friday, August 1

*         Thursday, August 14

Something new this year! We will be recognizing
organizations/departments that have perfect attendance at this summer's
orientation!!! Winners will receive recognition and a gift at the
closing ceremony of the final orientation session in August. We
appreciate your hard work and dedication and want to make sure we can
recognize those who go the extra mile. To be eligible for this
recognition your organization/department must . . . . 

*         check in for the fair no later than 12:45 pm

*         be present at your table the entire time (12:45 pm - 3 pm)

*         attend all orientation sessions 

If you're unable to participate in the fair, you can include a flyer or
handout in the student's folders.  Please send copies of the
flyer/handout to the orientation office by May 2nd. Let us know if you
have any additional questions or concerns regarding New Student
Orientation. We look forward to hearing from you before May 2nd!!!
