[Stuorg-adv] Submit your Globally Related Events

[Joshua Hardman]

University Staff and Faculty,

As most of you know, we are working diligently toward
launching our QEP (Quality Enhancement Plan) following our SACS visit in
the spring. Our QEP is entitled "Preparing Students for an
Interconnected World."

One thing we need right away is a list from all across
campus of all the globally related events and activities that currently
exist or are planned for the near future. A globally related event or
activity simply needs to have a goal of better preparing our students
for an interconnected world.

If you are directly, or indirectly, involved with any globally-related
activity or event, please reply to QEP.Committee at tamuc.edu as soon as
possible with the following information:

1. Name of the event/activity:

2. Approximate Date:

3. Frequency (one-time, annual, etc):

4. Sponsor/Organization:

5. A one or two sentence description of the event/activity:

6. A link for more information:

For example:

1. Name of Event/Activity: Multi-cultural Festival

2. Approximate Date: April

3. Frequency (one-time, annual, etc): annual

4. Sponsor/Organizer: The International Student Services
Office and the international students

5. A one or two sentence description of the event/activity:
festival to educate the campus and community on the world and its
cultures

6. A link for more information: None
