[Stuorg-adv] Harvey Martin Classic- Get on the Bus!!!

[Deepti Vanguri]

WELCOME BACK LIONS!

We hope you are ready and pumped up for the 2010-2011 school year, as
there is so much to look forward to! We want to let you know about an
exciting opportunity to "Get on the Bus" for the Harvey Martin Classic
(HMC) taking place on Saturday, September 11th! Student Organizations
and residents have the advantage of getting a FREE ticket to the game
AND the potential for winning $1,000 for their organization (or
residence hall building) by getting their organization members and
friends to join them on the bus to the HMC tailgate and game! As the
school year begins, this is a great way to bring your student
organization members together to have a fun social event while cheering
on your fellow Lions!

Here is the step-by-step process you can take to ensure your
organization does not miss out!

STEP 1: Tell your organization members about this opportunity and get
them to sign up to ride the buses. All you need is an Excel file with
each person's name and student number. Email myself at
Deepti_Vanguri at tamu-commerce.edu
<mailto:Deepti_Vanguri at tamu-commerce.edu> with your organization name
and list by Friday, September 3rd.

STEP 2: Pick up vouchers for your organization members from the Student
Activities and Leadership suite in SRSC 272 by Friday, September 10th at
noon. Vouchers can be exchanged for FREE tickets at the "Get on the Bus"
site. VOUCHERS MUST BE EXCHANGED FOR TICKETS BY 12:30PM to be guaranteed
the FREE ticket.

STEP 3: You and your members tell all of your friends to say they are
with "your organization" when they arrive at the "Get on the Bus" site.
The organization who has the most members and friends say they are with
them to ride the bus will win $1,000 for their organization!

Buses will go directly to the tailgate, taking place in the Cotton Bowl
Plaza. Each student riding the bus will receive an exclusive spirit
backpack filled with lots of fun giveaways and a FREE shirt.
