On behalf of the 2008 American Cancer Society's Relay For Life at Texas
A&M University-Commerce planning committee, I would like to express our
gratitude for the support, participation, dedication and excitement
displayed for this year's event.

 

The event was held this past weekend and it was a wonderful success. As
the adviser to planning committee and Colleges Against Cancer, the
organization responsible for coordinating the Relay, I would like to
publicly thank all of the amazing committee members.  

 

We would also like to congratulate the A&M-Commerce students, faculty
and staff and the Commerce community for exceeding their goal and
fundraising over $70,000 towards the fight against cancer.

 

In putting an event of this magnitude, much dedication, cooperation and
support is needed. As such we thank everyone involved particularly the
University administration, the College of Business and Technology, Dr.
Hal Langford, the A&M-Commerce Athletic Department, and the University
Facilities Management staff.
