[Stuorg-adv] Reminder: Recruitment opportunities for your student organizatio n!

Greetings Student Leaders,

 

As summer is winding down, it is a great time to begin thinking about your
recruitment plans for this fall.  

 

I'm excited to inform/remind you about the following recruiting
opportunities:

*	Get the Scoop on Groups (part of Lion Camp)

*	Thursday, August 23 at 6pm 
*	West Lawn
*	At this event you will be provided ice cream toppings to add to the
new students' ice cream sundaes as they come around and meet your student
organization.

*	The Pride Party

*	Monday, August 27 from 4-7pm
*	Texas & American Ballrooms
*	This event will involve student organizations and our local
merchants.  Set up a table at this event, but be sure to bring enough reps
from your organization so you can take turns working the table and taking
advantage of all the fun.  There will be free fair food, smoothies, a cash
cube ($1000 given away), butt sketch artist, live music and more.

*	Lionade Information Tents

*	Monday, August 27 through Friday, August 31 from 8:30am-11am
(Monday, Thursday, and Friday spots still available!)
*	Choose one of two locations to host the tent:  Student Services
Walkway or Ferguson Social Sciences
*	Help students find their way to their classes and interpret their
schedules at the Lionade Information Tents.  Each Lionade Information Tent
will be stocked with beverages, animal crackers, Lions Roar brochures and
campus maps.  Choose one day for your organization to host a tent from
8:30am-11:00am.
