<p>I hope this message finds you well and your Spring 2025 semester is off to a wonderful start. We will be issuing all calendar year 2024 required tax documents in the coming weeks. Although the University has changed our name to East Texas A&M University,
please note that all tax documents issued for the 2024 tax year will be under the name
<em><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">Texas A&M University-Commerce</span></em>. The process for changing our name with the IRS is ongoing and will be completed in the coming months. The University’s tax identification number will not change,
and will continue to be 75-6001353. This number will be on any tax documents issued to you.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p>Texas A&M University-Commerce will be the official name on any 2024-related tax documents, including W-2s, 1098-Ts, 1099s, 1042s, and any other necessary tax reporting forms. Future year tax documents will have the new name.<o:p></o:p></p>
