<p class="MsoNormal">Residential Living and Learning and the University Police Department are collaborating to host “After the Fire” on September 7<sup>th</sup> at 6:30 pm in the RSC Conference Rooms. I have attached both flyers for the event.

<p class="MsoNormal">After the Fire is a fire and life safety presentation from two college residence hall fire survivors. Not only will the audience learn fire safety tips, but they will gain a deeper appreciation of the power from within that comes when facing
and overcoming adversities.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The presentation includes the showing of a powerful documentary and reading from the New York Times Best-Selling book, “After the Fire”, followed by a discussion and Q & A session. Topics include:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">• Fire safety and prevention tips<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">• Pranking and the consequences of your actions<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">• Learning to love yourself despite your scars, your flaws or your imperfections<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">• Escape planning and complacency<o:p></o:p></p>
