                <p> This week, Texas A&M University-Commerce has received an increase in reports regarding theft of property from unlocked vehicles.  The University Police Department would like to remind vehicle owners to take the following precautions:<br><br>•  Keep your vehicle keys with you, do not leave them in your vehicle.<br>•        Prior to leaving your vehicle, ensure all the doors are locked.<br>•    Never leave valuables in your vehicle. If you must leave valuables, make sure they are stored out of sight.<br>•        Never leave credit/debit cards, cash, or your wallet or purse inside of your vehicle overnight.<br>•    Report suspicious activity to the University Police Department by calling 903-886-5868 or via the Lion Safe App.<br></p>
