                <p> The previous notice had broken links.  This notice has the correct links to both the fire and crime reports. <br><br>Crime Statistics<br>A copy of Texas A&M-Commerce’s annual security report can be obtained at www.tamuc.edu/crimestats<br>If you do not wish to obtain the report over the internet, you may contact the University Police Department at 903-886-5868. The report includes statistics for the previous three years and includes crime data for on-campus and public property immediately adjacent to the university. <br>The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning sexual assault, and other matters.  <br><br>Fire Statistics<br>A copy of the Annual Fire Report can be obtained at www.tamuc.edu/firereport<br>If you do not wish to obtain the report over the internet, you may contact the Department of Campus Operations and Safety at 903-468-3091. The report includes fire statistics in campus housing for the previous three years. Procedures for reporting fires and other important safety information are found within.   <br><br>Emergency Notification<br>The Emergency Alert System is a free mass notification system in which students, faculty, and staff can sign up to participate. The alert system is capable of voice, email, and text message delivery of emergency messages. <br> <br> <br>In the unlikely event of a campus emergency, all participants will receive direct notification of the situation along with instructions. <br> Just a reminder: The alert system must be signed up for annually. The fastest and easiest way to sign up is to logon to MyLeo and select apps, then Alert System Settings. Text 'sodexo' or 'ssc' to 888777 if you are employed by our contracted partners. For branch location students, please specify in “My Information” what location you would like to receive alerts for.  <br> <br> <br> <br><br></p>
