and as we approach the close of the semester, I want us to finish strong and safe.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">As agreed at the start of the semester, we are observing the original academic calendar—meaning start and close of the semester. However, faculty have the option of ending
their course at Thanksgiving break or going fully online at that time for the remainder of the semester. Final grades will be due according to the regular semester schedule.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Students, this means you need to consult with each of your instructors to find out their plans for the close of the semester. You may find that some professors will stick
it out in-person through the remainder of our fall; some may go online; some may end the day before Thanksgiving. Individual professors are empowered to make that decision for their courses.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
