Applying for financial aid for 18-19 academic year?<o:p></o:p></p>

The Department of Education will have the 18-19 FAFSA (Free Applicant For Federal Student Aid) on line on October 1, 2017.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Students who are U.S. citizens, Permanent Residents of the U.S. or other Eligible Non-citizens complete the FAFSA<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The Department of Education indicates the IRS Data Retrieval System feature should be back on line for the 18-19 FAFSA.

<p class="MsoNormal">The TX Higher Education Coordinating Board should have the 18-19 TASFA (Texas Application for Student Financial Aid) available on October 1, 2017.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The TASFA application is for students who cannot apply for federal financial aid using the FAFSA.
