<p class="MsoNormal">If a student is in their last semester and needs less than 6 credit hours to complete the degree, rumor has it that the student can add any other 3 hour class, even if it is not part of the degree, to make the 6 credit hour minimum required
enrollment for financial aid because it is their last semester. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">This rumor is not correct.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">A student needs to be in 6 credit hours to receive financial aid and cannot simply add a course in order to make the required 6 credit hours even if it is in their last semester.

<p class="MsoNormal">If the student needs less than 6 credit hours to graduate, and is in good standing the student can apply for the Homer Tate Enrollment Initiative Scholarship program. Information on the Homer Tate Enrollment Initiative Scholarship program
