Applications Now Open!<br>
Applications are now available for students who wish to apply to be a part of the 2015-2016 Lion Student Ambassador program. Below you will find the qualifications and application process.<br>
<br>
Qualifications to Apply:<br>
The qualifications for a student to apply to be a part of this program are as follows:<br>
• Have a minimum 2.75 semester GPA (3.25 if graduate student)<br>
• Be in good standing with the university, both academically and disciplinary<br>
• Have completed one full semester at A&M-Commerce by time of application<br>
• Be enrolled full-time and maintain a minimum of 12 semester hours (undergraduate) or 9 semester hours (graduate) at A&M-Commerce<br>
• Be available to attend Ambassador training and meetings on the Commerce campus. Meetings are held Thursdays at 5:00 pm<br>
• Possess the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a diverse group of people and personalities<br>
• Exhibit leadership and a desire to achieve excellence<br>
• Display a high degree of maturity, energy, professionalism and flexibility<br>
• Display a sincere sense of school spirit and pride in A&M-Commerce<br>
• Possess a genuine passion and enthusiasm for A&M-Commerce<br>

Application Process:<br>
Applications packets consisting of a Lion Student Ambassador Application (attached); Two (2) Recommendation Forms; and a Resume, are due in the One Stop Shop by
<b>5:00 PM Friday, May 1st</b>. Late and incomplete applications will NOT be considered. Students with the best applications will be offered interviews during week of May 4th – 8th. Students selected as Lion Student Ambassadors for 2015-2016 will be notified
by Friday, May 8th and begin service in Fall 2015. <br>
