<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Consolas">The Mayo</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Consolas"></FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"> <FONT FACE="Consolas">Review is a literary journal run by the Department of</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Consolas">Literature and Languages that publishes artwork, prose,</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Consolas">drama, and poetry by people at the University and from</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Consolas">around the country. The Mayo Review offers people at our</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Consolas">University the chance to both perform and publish original</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Consolas">work they have created while also fostering an environment</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Consolas">in which these people can come together to share their</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Consolas">ideas.</FONT></SPAN><SPAN LANG="en-us"></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Consolas">We have a great sta</FONT><FONT FACE="Consolas">ff this year and we are excited to see</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Consolas">what kind of material our events produce, both in The Mayo</FONT></SPAN></P>

<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Consolas">develop their creative writing skills or have a chance at</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Consolas">publishing material the</FONT><FONT FACE="Consolas">y have worked on without the</FONT></SPAN></P>
<P DIR=LTR><SPAN LANG="en-us"><FONT FACE="Consolas">expectations or burdens of writing for a class.</FONT></SPAN></P>
