<P class=MsoNormal>The Texas A&M University Chapter of Phi Delta Kappa has elected to award three Phi Delta Scholarships this year: an Undergraduate Scholarship, a scholarship to a Masters Degree student and a scholarship to a student working on the Doctoral Degree. This year the scholarship for the <FONT color=#0000ff><STRONG>undergraduate student</STRONG></FONT> is awarded to <FONT color=#0000ff><STRONG>Jennifer Beard</STRONG></FONT>; the <FONT color=#0000ff><STRONG>Masters degree Award</STRONG></FONT> is presented to <FONT color=#0000ff><STRONG>Erica Contreras</STRONG></FONT> and <FONT color=#0000ff><STRONG>Jane Braddock</STRONG></FONT> will receive the scholarship for the <FONT color=#0000ff><STRONG>Doctoral student</STRONG></FONT>. Each of these students will receive a $250.00 scholarship at the Spring Phi Delta Kappa banquet held <FONT color=#000080><STRONG>Thursday, May 12, 2011</STRONG></FONT> at <FONT color=#000080><STRONG>6:00pm</STRONG></FONT> at <STRONG><FONT color=#002060>Luigi’s Restaurant, 2002 S. Goliad St., </FONT></STRONG><SPAN><STRONG>Rockwall, Texas 75087</STRONG>. </SPAN></P>

<P class=MsoNormal><B><SPAN style="COLOR: #002060">The recipients of the Phi Delta Kappa scholarships</SPAN></B><SPAN style="COLOR: windowtext"> are joining a very prestigious group of former awardees.</SPAN><SPAN style="COLOR: windowtext"> We are very proud of this year’s scholarship recipients, and we are looking </SPAN><SPAN style="COLOR: windowtext">forward to meeting them on May 12<SUP>th</SUP>.</SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal><SPAN style="COLOR: windowtext">Students and faculty of Texas A&M University-Commerce and the general public are invited to join us for the Spring banquet. The featured speaker for the banquet will be Dr. Brent Donham, head of the Industrial Engineering Department at A&M Commerce. He will address the STEM programs and the impact of these programs on educational institutions. </SPAN></P>
