<p class=MsoNormal>February 15, 2011 is the final deadline for students to
apply for the Alumni Legacy Scholarship for Fall 2011/Spring 2012.<span
style='color:#1F497D'> </span> To be eligible for any of the Alumni
Association scholarships, the student must have a parent or grandparent who
graduated from the University. (Commerce area students may also have a sister,
brother, aunt, or uncle who is a graduate of Texas A&M-Commerce.) The
amounts of the scholarships are $500 (Commerce Chapter is $1,000), with half
being dispersed each semester of the award year. Students must maintain a 3.0
GPA and be registered for 12 undergraduate credit hours or 9 graduate credit
hours. <o:p></o:p></p>
