will be in the air as Texas A&M University-Commerce alumni, students and
friends build spirit for the Lion’s team as they meet at the first tailgate
party of the season on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010.<o:p></o:p></b></p>

<p class=MsoNormal style='text-autospace:none'><b>The fun begins at 3:00 p.m.
on the grassy area between Gee Lake and North of the Morris Recreation Center
(Parking Lot C) before the Lions kick off their home opener against Upper Iowa
at 6 p.m. in Memorial Stadium. <o:p></o:p></b></p>

<p class=MsoNormal style='text-autospace:none'><b>A student organization spirit
contest<span style='color:#1F497D'>, </span>sponsored this week by the Office
of the President, will be held. $150 will go to the 1<sup>st</sup> place
winner, $125 to the 2<sup>nd</sup> place winner and $75 to the 3<sup>rd</sup> place
winner. Student organizations must be present at tailgate and at the game
to be eligible to win. The winning student groups will be announced in
the last 5 minutes of the game.</b><b><span style='font-size:12.0pt'><o:p></o:p></span></b></p>

<p class=MsoNormal style='text-autospace:none'><b>Campus Dining will offer
fried chicken and sides for $8.50 to be served under the blue and gold
tent. Students will be served their dining plan meal on the lawn as the
cafeteria will be closed. Campus Dining will accept meal plans and cash.
Join the cheerleaders and the Pride Marching Band at 5:30 p.m. to lead us into
the stadium for the game. <o:p></o:p></b></p>

three hours before every home football game. Join us again on October 2 as the
