<B>The Athletic Department is looking for qualified tutors</B> to enhance the academic success of TAMU-C student athletes by supplying effective facilitation in a manner that will improve academic skills while developing mastery of subject material. &nbsp;Student independence rather than tutor dependence will be the emphasis of the Lions Learning Center tutorial program.<BR>
&nbsp;<BR>
<B>General Requirements:<BR>
</B>&middot; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Tutors must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 in the subject matter they will tutor<BR>
&middot; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Demonstrate effective communication skills<BR>
&middot; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Demonstrate the ability to work well with others and a diverse population<BR>
&middot; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ability to model behavior of a successful college student<BR>
&middot; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Ethical integrity by following the University, and Lion Success Center policies at all times<BR>
&middot; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Classified as a junior or higher<BR>
&middot; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Must be willing to commit to an entire semester<BR>
&middot; &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Attend semester workshop and first semester training sessions <BR>
