<P><FONT SIZE=2>Nola Taylor has collected her first Lone Star Conference North Division Player of the Week award after posting back-to-back double-doubles against Texas Woman’s and Cameron last week, league officials have announced.<BR>
<BR>
Taylor, a 6-1 senior forward, recorded 19 points and 14 rebounds in the Lions’ 99-75 victory over TWU, and followed with a career-high 25 points and 11 boards in a 92-66 win at Cameron on Saturday.<BR>
<BR>
The Oakland, Calif., native leads the team with seven double-doubles on the season, and is averaging 12.1 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. Her current streak has also helped the Lions roll off three straight victories in which she’s averaged 17.3 points and 11.7 boards.<BR>
<BR>
Taylor has particularly been dominant on the offensive glass, collecting eight against TWU and seven at Cameron. She currently leads the LSC with 4.4 offensive rebounds per game.<BR>
<BR>
Now at 11-6 overall and 3-1 in LSC North Division play, A&M-Commerce has jumped into a tie for second with Northeastern State, trailing Central Oklahoma (14-3, 4-0) by a game.<BR>

Taylor and the Lions will look to continue their winning ways at East Central on Wednesday at 6 p.m. in Ada, Okla.<BR>
