A&M – Commerce, the City of Commerce and the Commerce Chamber of Commerce
are gearing up to sponsor the ninth annual Big Event scheduled for April 5<sup>th</sup>,
2008. Volunteers will come together to clean up and revitalize the
community. This is a day of community action in order to improve the City
of Commerce; as well as, the university. A stew luncheon will be held at
the City Park for all volunteers that work on a project. This years
luncheon entertainment will be our very own university steel drum band.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'>The
Big Event committee is looking for volunteers and organizations that are
willing to help out and take on a community project for the event. They
are asking that everybody get involved to help improve the appearance,
facilities or safety of the community. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

at Authors’ Park. The public is invited to attend. The honored
