undergraduates eligible to apply for the 2008 Mayo Scholarship, one of the most
prestigious awards at <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Texas</st1:PlaceName>
<st1:PlaceName w:st="on">A&M</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">University</st1:PlaceType></st1:place>
– Commerce. The Mayo Scholar will receive $3,000 toward his/her
academic expenses in the 2008-2009 academic year, and the four runners-up will
each be given a $1,500 credit toward tuition and fees. The names of the
winner and runners-up will be announced at this spring’s Honors Day
Luncheon on Friday, April 25, 2008.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
