has seen a marked increase in the amount of motor vehicle burglaries reported
on campus. In many of these cases, the vehicles were unlocked. Today,
a victim of one of these burglaries caught the suspect in the act of
burglarizing her vehicle. The suspect ran off immediately when he
realized he had been seen. If you witness something like this, please do
not chase or try to apprehend the suspect yourself. Instead, call 911 and
remain on the line with the dispatcher. Attempt to obtain the most
