Welcome to the Fall 2025 semester!

As you get involved, it’s important to stay informed. Please take a few minutes to review the Student Rights & Responsibilities website<https://www.etamu.edu/office-of-student-rights-and-responsibilities/> and our Hazing Policy<https://www.etamu.edu/office-of-student-rights-and-responsibilities/hazing-policy/>. This policy helps you understand what hazing is, how to prevent it, and how to make safe, positive choices in your student organization involvement.
At East Texas A&M University, there has been one (1) confirmed hazing violation in the past three years. While rare, hazing is taken seriously, and we rely on our community to help keep campus safe. If you become aware of hazing—on or off campus—please report it:

  *   University Police Department: 903-886-5868 or 911
  *   Assistant Dean of Students / Student Rights and Responsibilities: 903-886-5195
  *   Submit a Hazing Report<https://cm.maxient.com/reportingform.php?TAMUCommerce&layout_id=1>
