[Students] Hours of Operation

[A&M-Commerce Students]

Lion Students,

I hope all of you are hanging in there.  We will get through this terrible winter storm together.  Just a few updates to make sure you all are aware.


1.       Download the Lion Safe App as it will provide you with much needed information

a.       News feed, Shuttle maps, Emergency Contacts



2.       Morris Recreation Center (MRC) is open

a.       Shower, Workout

b.       Fill your water bottles if you are off campus and have no water.  The water system for the MRC is a different water source and you can shower and drink it.

c.       Hours of Operation:
Today open until 9:00pm and then the rest of the weekend and next week normal operational hours listed below.

5:30am-11pm Monday-Thursday

5:30a-7pm- Friday

10am-9pm-Saturday

11:30a-10p- Sunday


3.       Rayburn Student Center (RSC)

a.       We will resume normal business hours at the RSC

b.       Lion Mane Café - open normal business hours

c.       Use the MRC to charge laptops, phones if needed.


4.       Residential Living and Learning

a.       Any issues report those to your RA and Community Director, for your residence hall, for assistance.  They are there to help and serve you.

b.       PC residents please make sure you continue to boil water for a minimum of 2 mins until the city alerts us that city water is okay to drink.


5.       Counseling Services

a.       If you are having a mental health emergency and need to speak with a counselor please call 903.886.5145.  This is a 24 hour number.


6.       Off Campus Students

a.       Continue to boil water and for updates on water from the city go to commercetx.org

b.       Remember to go to the Morris Recreation Center for Drinking water, just bring water bottles.  You can also shower there as well.
