[Students] Domestic Violence Information Session: Virtually Presented by Women in Need

Hello Lions,

Due to increased time at home and social distancing, as a result of COVID-19, many individuals impacted by domestic violence may not have the means to reach out, have a safe place to stay or may not have the access to the information they need in order to get out of their situation. The TAMUC Victim Advocacy and Support team invites you to join us in a webinar hosted by Women In Need on Wednesday, May 6th, 2020 at 10:00am via ZOOM. Women in Need (WIN) is a local safe shelter for victims of domestic violence. WIN provides Refuge, Empowerment and Restoration to individuals and families affected by domestic violence in Hunt and Rockwall County. Women In Need will walk us through what domestic violence is, red flags, signs of abuse, and how we can support domestic violence victims/survivors.
