[Students] UPDATE: The Lion Food Pantry

Hello Lions,

We hope this finds each of you well! As you may know, many food pantries are struggling to keep up with the increased demand resulting from COVID-19. The Lion Food Pantry is experiencing the same limited resources and will not be distributing food at this time. This is only temporary and will be resolved as soon as stores restock their shelves.

With that said, we are grateful to have a fantastic community resource for you to utilize. The Commerce Food Pantry will be offering curbside pick-up on Thursday from 2pm to 4pm.  1216 Monroe St. Commerce, Texas. Please remain in your vehicle and the volunteers will come to you. Accommodations will be made to those who are walking or on bikes. Their phone number is 903-886-3783.

If you are experiencing a food emergency or need additional community resource information, please email Lionpantry at tamuc.edu<mailto:Lionpantry at tamuc.edu>. A member of the Student Case Management Team will follow-up with you to assess your needs and help determine what resources may be beneficial. If you do not live in Commerce or Hunt County, please email us and we will give you resource information specific to your county/city of residence.
