[Students] Lion Move-In Week Volunteers Needed!

Greetings Lion Family!

Residential Living and Learning is preparing for another great year of Fall Opening and we cannot do that without your help!
Move-In will look very different from past years to support COVID-related social distancing and health precautions.  Move-in week will begin on Wednesday, August 19th and end on Friday, August 21st starting at 8am-3pm each day.

With your support, we can make this three day move-in a smooth and successful experience.

Please Note:

*       Student volunteers with housing assignments will be able to move into their residence hall between Noon and 4:00pm on Saturday, August 15th.

*       A MANDATORY LION MOVE-IN VOLUNTEER MEETING will be held on Monday, August 10th at 11am AND 12pm via zoom.  You will only have to attend one of the meetings.  Plan for the meeting to last 20-30 minutes.

o   In order to receive a shirt, individuals/groups must sign up by Friday, July 31st and attend a meeting.  We will provide shirts as supplies and sizes last, if signing up after this date.  Shirts can be picked up at Whitley Hall Residence Education Suite on Monday, August 17th, and Tuesday, August 18th.

*       If you signed up a group, please make sure to email your group list (names and shirt size) to Samantha.Lopez at tamuc.edu<mailto:Samantha.Lopez at tamuc.edu> by July 31st.  Please make sure to share this information with your group.

o   All group members signed up must attend the meeting.

*       I will be assigning individuals/groups to various roles and will send out an email by August 10th with information regarding your timeslot, role responsibilities, and where to check-in on the day you are volunteering.
