[Students] Lion Volleyball and Basketball on Campus this Week

[A&M-Commerce Students]

Students:

We have an exciting week ahead of us as our Lion Volleyball team has earned the #1 seed in the Lone Star Conference Tournament and will host the Conference Tournament on our campus for the first time since 1986! The tournament will begin this Thursday, November 21 and continue through Saturday, November 23. All students will gain FREE ADMISSION by showing their Lion Card ID at the door, so let's show the entire Lone Star Conference why A&M Commerce and the Field House are the best volleyball environments in all of NCAA Division II! Below is the schedule to support your fellow Lion students as they seek a second straight LSC Championship!

Thursday, November 21 (Quarterfinal Match)
7:30 p.m.: No. 1 Texas A&M-Commerce vs 8-9 winner

Friday, November 22 (Semifinal Match - When we win)
7:30 p.m.: No. 1 Texas A&M-Commerce vs Quarterfinal 3 winner

Saturday, November 23 (Championship Match - When we win)
3:30 p.m.: No. 1 Texas A&M-Commerce vs Semifinal 1 winner

Our Lion Basketball teams will also be starting conference competition vs. St. Edwards this week at home on Saturday, November 23 with tip off times of 6 p.m. (women) and 8 p.m. (men) at the conclusion of the Volleyball Lone Star Conference Championship.

I hope everyone can make an effort to help us secure victories whether you are traveling to Tarleton State for the first round of the NCAA Division II football playoffs on Saturday at 1 p.m., or staying in Commerce to support our volleyball and basketball teams in the Field House!
