Native Voices Health Panel Discussion

Listen in on a candid conversation with current and former students, faculty and community members discussing their personal knowledge and unique perspective on issues of Native health. The moderated Native Voices panel will discuss topics and experiences pertaining to the five themes of the Native Voices exhibit, and touch on the interconnectedness of Native health, wellness, and community. The Club Movie: Monsters Inc. (2001)

The Club movie is free to everyone. Come out to enjoy free popcorn and half-priced fountain drinks. Come see the adorable classic, Monsters, Inc. In order to power the city, monsters have to scare children so that they scream. However, the children are toxic to monsters, and after a child gets through, two monsters realize things may not be what they seem. CAB Presents: Finals Feast!

Come relax with CAB as we end the year with a bang at our annual Finals Feast. This year we doing a shout out to the Beastie Boys song “No Sleep till Brooklyn” with “No Sleep till Finals” which is a struggle for most students during this time. Come enjoy breakfast tacos, buffalo chicken wraps, and a Mashed Potato Martini bar! There will be live entertainment as well as inflatables and other fun activities! Everyone is Welcome! "Don't Sick After June" Film Screening and Q&A with Director and Producer Chip Richie
Time: 5:00pm – 8:00pm
Location: Talbot Hall Room 203
Cost: Free
Organization: Texas A&M University - Commerce Libraries
A film showing of Don't Get Sick After June: American Indian Healthcare with an introduction and Q&A by the director and producer, Chip Richie. A second showing will begin at 7:00 pm for those who cannot make the first showing. Don't Get Sick After June: American Indian Healthcare chronicles the history of Indian healthcare from the early 1800s to the recent Healthcare Reform Act signed into law in 2010 by President Obama. An encore showing of the film will begin at 7 PM for those unable to attend the first screening. Event time: 5:00 pm (first showing) and 7:00 pm (second showing).

The Lions Softball team will be competing for a spot in the Lone Star Conference postseason tournament, a top-eight NCAA Regional ranking, and a series victory over TWU. We need all students to come out and show their support at the game! In addition, all SAAC Snack Shack concessions will be $1 (excluding Dickey’s BBQ).
