The Roar Newsletter provides an easy platform for you to reach students! With
the Fall semester just around the corner, the Student Center would like to
remind everyone about the best way to utilize it for your events and
announcements. Below are some things to keep in mind when trying to get
the best out of this service:


·         Submissions for the Roar must be made by Friday at 8 A.M. in order to
go out the following Monday.

·         Announcements can be posted for two weeks, while events will be posted
the week of the event.

·         The Roar Newsletter is the only way you will be able to reach all students
via email in regards to social, general, recreational, and athletic
announcements. Please do not attempt to send your own announcements
through the student listserv, they will not be approved.

With a new design that provides a better user experience, we are now open for
submissions and excited to have all of our students learn about your
events/announcements! Submissions for the Roar must be sent through the application
found in the following link: http://www.tamuc.edu/campusLife/studentCenter/the-roar.aspx

Guidelines for submissions:
In order to ensure that your announcement or event is easy to read,
we have created the following guidelines.

-          Description of the event or announcement cannot exceed a maximum
of  300 characters.

-          Events must include a photo or logo with 128 x 128 dimensions,
if you do not submit one the Roar Newsletter logo will be used
as a placeholder.

We hope The Roar Newsletter will help you reach a broader audience,
and we are excited to share your upcoming events/announcements!
