[Students] Drop Deadline Fall 2016

REMINDER:
LAST DAY TO DROP A COURSE (WHILE REMAINING ENROLLED IN AT LEAST 1 OTHER COURSE FOR THE SEMESTER)
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 3, 2016

Please note that dropping a course at this point in the semester will NOT give a refund for the course. You may either drop the course through your MyLeo or complete and return the attached drop form by Thursday 11/03/2016.

Please also note that the course will remain on your transcript with a grade of "Q". The Q does not affect your GPA, but undergraduates are only allowed 6 Q's in their undergraduate career.

If you are attempting to drop ALL courses in this semester, you will need to complete and sign the attached withdrawal form and return to us by the withdrawal deadline of 11/27/2016. Withdrawal only applies if you are getting out of the last or only course that you are enrolled in for the Fall 2016 semester, since that means that you will no longer be enrolled. Any student withdrawing needs to contact offices on the form to discuss the effects of a withdrawal. Please also remember that a withdrawal cannot be processed without the last date of attendance being completed on the form.

Not all courses are the 16 week courses. If you are in a class that is shorter than the standard 16 week course, you can find your deadlines here: http://www.tamuc.edu/admissions/registrar/academicCalendars/default.aspx
