Student Government Association Applications

Apply to be a member of the Student Government Association at A&M-Commerce!

The Student Government Association is an organization of dedicated students who work hard to represent the student body and serve as the students' voice to the administration. Help us carry on a tradition of excellence and service by applying to become a Senator or Executive Officer for the 2016-2017 year. All students are welcome to apply for SGA Senate regardless of previous experience.

All completed candidate applications must be returned by Friday, February 26th at 5:00pm. Applications may be submitted in person to the SGA Office or via email to SGA at tamuc.edu<mailto:SGA at tamuc.edu>. Please ensure that you also attach all additional documents as specified in the application. Elections will be held March 9th - 10th. Come out and support the Alternative Spring Break students in raising money for the upcoming service projects in Indianapolis, Indiana and St. Louis, Missouri. A select group of students have been chosen to go to these states and engage in community service pertinent to the city's needs. Please support these students February 22nd - 25th by the Campus Crossroads from 8am - 12pm, as they will be selling hot-chocolate and donuts!

The Art of Black History

"Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up." - Pablo Picasso. L.E.A.D. wants to invite you to rebirth that inner artist that we all have in us and participate in this extraordinary painting event. 25 students will have the opportunity to paint a piece centered on African- American art and history! Don't miss out on your chance take part in this special event in celebration of Black History Month!
Deposit: If selected to attend, you will need to pay a $20 deposit to the L.E.A.D. department by Monday, February 22nd!

LWL Outdoor Soccer Tournament
Time: 12:00 pm
Location: Cain Sport Complex'
Cost: $15 Team Registration
Leadership Without Limits (LWL) is hosting an outdoor soccer tournament THIS SATURDAY at Cain Sports Complex to raise money to go to South Korea. Teams are a minimum of 7 and maximum of 9. Registration is $15 per team. There are no gender requirements. First place wins pizza! Contact any LWL member or pick up registration forms in the L.E.A.D.  office at RSC 289.
