[Students] Face-to-Face Training -Introduction to Biosafety, RCR and Protection of Human Subjects Trainings - Classroom

Dear Admins and Department Heads,

The Office of Research & Sponsored Programs is honored to have Dr. Bruce Whitney, Chief Research Compliance Officer for System, to facilitate the learning in each of these sessions of Face-to-Face training (classroom) on Tuesday, September 29, 2015.  These training sessions are a substitute for the CITI online training for the required research compliance classes of Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR), Protection of Human Subjects and the Introduction to Biosafety.

The flyers are attached and may be posted or forwarded to students and faculty who may be in need of the training.

We want to be sure that your departments are aware of the trainings since much of the research associated with your fields involves human subjects or participants.  The RCR training is required for all faculty, staff and students involved in any type of research.  The Protection of Human Subjects and Introduction to Biosafety trainings may be required depending on the type of research that is being done.

At this point, there have not been as many as usually sign up for these trainings. Please make sure potential attendees are aware of this training opportunity.
